  1. To soften the jam stored in refrigerator, place it in steam.
  2. Paneer will remain fresh for much longer period, if it is wrapped in blotting paper while keeping it in refrigerator.
  3. Saute onions, grind it to make a paste and then use it for gravy vegetable. It will enhance the taste and this paste can be preserved also for about a week – if kept in refrigerator.
  4. If curd/dahi is sour, add milk into it, especially for lassi.
