  1. To remove the skin of almonds easily, soak them in hot water for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Raisins give off more flavor when you chop and use in cakes or puddings instead of using them whole. It will be easier to chop raisins if you sprinkle some flour over them so that they do not stick. Then cut with a small kitchen scissors.
  3. Use bread wrappers for lining microwave bowl while making cake. The cake comes out easily and the bowl will remain clean as well.
  4. Put lemon in warm water for 5-10 min before squeezing. The juice will come out easily and more.
