Aam Panna Recipe – How to make Green Mango Panna Drink

Summer is on it’s full swing and kids are on summer vacations. So in short it time when moms are super active in
kitchen to make new stuff for kids.

This is the time when kids want to be out all the time and play. So they definitely need a super drink to be energized and stay cool and refreshed.

Aam Panna is one such drink that will help kids to be safe in summer and keep them cool and active.
So today I will share a very easy way to make this super power drink using raw mangoes. In conventional Aam panna
recipe you need to roast the raw mango and get the pulp out using hands. So lets try something which is less messy and lot more easier for everyone.

With this recipe we will be making the pulp for Aam panna which we will be mixing with water at the time of serving. We will get around 3-3.5 Ltrs for Aam Panna pulp with this recipe which can easily make 18-20 serving glasses.

Here are the list of ingredients that we will be needing to make Aam Panna drink:
1- Raw Mango (Peeled and chopped): 5-6.
2- Black Pepper Cloves: 4-5.
3- Mint leaves : 8-10.
4- Sauf(fennel seeds): 1 Tsp.
5- Sugar: 1 cup.
6- Grated Ginger: 1 Tsp.
7- Roasted Jeera: 1 Tsp.
8- Black Salt: 1 Tsp.
9- Water: 4-5 Cups for soaking.
10- Water: 4-5 cups for mixing in paste.

Steps for making Aam Panna Drink:

Gather all the things required to the counter top and follow the following steps:

1- In a deep pan add 5-6 peeled and chopped raw mangoes and add water to soak them (approx 4-5 cups).

2- Add 4-5 black pepper cloves along with 4-5 mint leaves and 1 Tsp Sauf (fennel seeds).

3- Bring the water to boil, till the chopped mangoes become soft.

4- Once the mangoes are boiled. Let it cool and them add them in a blender jar with 1 Cup sugar and left over water.

5- Also add 1 Tsp grated ginger and 1 Tsp Roasted jeera and blend all ingredients to make a thick paste.

6- Strain the paste in a large container.

7- In the same blending jar add 5-6 mint leaves and 1 cup of water and blend it for few secs to get it cleaned and get all the remaining pulp out.

8- Add 4 cups of water and 1 Tsp black salt to the container and mix it well.

Our Aam Panna drink is now ready. Serve it chilled. Add extra water, ice cubes and black pepper powder while serving.

Ingredients
