  1. You can use leftover chapatis/paranthas by making rotis pakori, roti ki sabzi.
  2. Gravy that has turned watery can be thickened by adding roasted gram flour (besan)/poha/bread crumbs. This tip will be useful when you are out of tomatoes or when you do not want to use onions.
  3. Add a little semolina (sooji/rawa), bread crumbs and oil in the gram flour while making a batter for pakodas to make it crispy.
  4. Garlic skin comes off easily if the garlic flakes are warmed a little before peeling.
